“A classic song and video”
Taking an already soulful song and raising to yet a higher level. Wow!!!! Mary's powerful voice is able to transcend the guitars and bring the whole ensemble up with her. A classic voice matched with an equally classy band....thank you Mary for elevating this terrific song.
“'one' editing”
Well I dont think the editing is bad as a matter of fact i think it is good. not every motion the artist makes needs to be synced to the audio. i mean, generally, yes, thats great when the two sync, but, sometimes, for accentuation, or even as an approach on its own, using one image to the music in a different part of the song can be cool. i mean when you consider they're lip syncing anyway... but i respect your opinion. just think the editor did a damn good job (this is generally 5 people on a stage--all gods, yes, but still) and when you look at the overall 'feel' of whats been achieved here I think you have to admire that. but as they say you say tomato i say tomato. love the video.....

“Amazing Performance”
An amazing performance and blending of artistic talent. MJB takes a great song and brings it to a whole new, previously undetectable level. The black and white shot gives it a great perspective. The only shortcoming is the video editing: it's way too obvious that the final cut is a collection of multiple takes. MJB's microphone is all over the place from scene to scene. Shots of her singing in silhouette are clearly not in sync with what is actually being heard. It's obvious that MJB give's 110% in her performances and the video editor should have respected that. Thanks MJB and U2 for an amazing piece of work.

The One video is a work of art! I especially like your voice when singing the line "..love is a higher law..." You give so much energy and rythym to the song that it reminds me of Gospel. I hope to hear more incredible duets from you in the future. I live in Columbus, OH and drive a truck. I recently saw your billboard by I-40 in Memphis, TN, it was very beautiful but I know that pictures do not do you justice. Keep up the good work and enjoy the cars!!

Lady, you knocked this one out of the ballpark. This one brings me to my knees. I will never tire of this song. What a convergence of talent and feeling. I would have loved to have been at Madison Square Garden when you got up on stage with U2 to perform this song. Although from what I have read from those who were there it might have killed me.

I don't even know why I'm so amazed. I have always loved Mary and there is nothing to much that she could do that that I don't like. Mary can do no wrong in my eyes. I am just so happy to see her getting the respect she truly deserves. I love her voice with the rock music bascground and think she should do a rock classics album. I saw her on Fashion Rocks a few years back singing Janis Joplin's "Piece of my heart" she sang that as if she wrote it. I have always thought that shoud go on one of her albums. I just love her.
